When WAGS was first founded, a primary goal was to allow the goalies to have a means to have a network of other goalies that they can look towards to help them fill the net as WAGS AKA West Assured Goaliefly Saves acknowledged that some of our goalies were also already fulfilling requests for skates they might not normally do for renumeration for their extra time and efforts above and beyond other their usual hockey and other life commitments.
To bring back some (financial) nostalgia to the early days, albeit our fees won't drop to quite as low as when it all started, we're temporarily offering ALL (new and existing) goalie reservations or bookings a discount! Well, not really, but we needed to use certain key words in this entry to try to generate the maximum number of search results. Rather, we're simply waiving our $10 admin fees from today till March 23rd 2024. That is, the fees or "discount" will be applicable for all bookings up until March 30th, 2024 start times, provided that the golaie(s) are officially requested prior to March 24th, 2024.
Translation: You currently can get a West Assured Goaliefly Saves Goalie for only $45! Although we will not be updating the preset $55 in our request form, discount will be applied automatically at time of payment regardless of whether you're paying us via eTransfer or otherwise. AND if you do still want to pay $55, since our admin fees are temporarily waived, that "$55" default rate will currently go 100% to the goalies! Book one today!
NOTE: As previously stated, at other organizations, for skates ending after 11PM or beginning prior to 8AM and ice times scheduled as longer than 60 minutes or "an hour" goalies may be paid more than their standard renumeration at those organizations. However, there will be no change in our current setup in that it is suggested that people booking set a different renumeration rate to reflect this as ultimately it is the goalie who decides whether or not to go to your skate at the standard "$45" renumeration or whatever the user enters as the renumeration.
